With the additional personnel, the Vaessen Industries group company has been able to increase its capacity to 60,000 tonnes per year.<\/p>\n<section>\u2018That is the critical size for further roll-out of our lean and green business concept in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom,\u2019 says CEO Dimitri Fotij. \u2018This acquisition will make E-Max a major player in the Western European market.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>E-Max&#8217;s huge asset is the technology it has developed itself, with which the CO<sub>2<\/sub>impact per tonne of aluminium used is just 1.9 tonnes rather than the sector-average 10 tonnes. \u2018To fully implement this process, we will invest some 40 million euros over the next three years,\u2019 says Fotij.
