NEW WIND TURBINE FOR E-MAX DILSEN

E-MAX focuses on sustainability in every aspect of its business operations. The energy needed for the production process was already largely produced with solar panels. Now the next step has been taken with the installation of a wind turbine.

‘Our production process requires a lot of energy. Because we design our operations to be as environmentally friendly as possible, we opt for green energy,’ says Koen Hendrikx, purchase/supply chain manager at E-MAX. ‘With the new wind turbine alongside the solar panels, we are now generating even more green power than we consume ourselves. So we are supplying green power back to the grid,’ he continues.

The wind turbine is located at the Dilsen site. With a height of 150 metres, it is hard to miss the wind turbine when you visit us. The turbine has a rated capacity of 2.2 megawatts.

For E-MAX customers, the installation of the wind turbine has a further advantage, in addition to the environmental aspect.
